Mr. Vail

Richard has been a member of PMI since 1995 and since 2002 he has served as Director of Training for the Central Ohio Chapter of the Project Management Institute. His primary responsibilities include coordinating 22 fellow instructors for 35 hour instruction courses focused on PMP® Certification, teaching in those classes, and developing new content and revising existing content for the course. This involved including all weekly tests, text book & workbook selections, Power Point presentation for each week’s class, and feedback for participants and instructors, tracking participants’ progress toward PMP® Certification, and mentoring participants’ to pass the PMP® test. Over the years Richard has also served as an Ad hoc faculty member of Boston University, American University, Franklin University, George Mason University & Rockhurst College and has partnered with numerous organizations to provide training opportunities.

Richard has taught courses in 47 states and eight foreign countries. He has taught over 1,500 training days over the past 20 years. The project management related courses that Richard has taught include:
